Crumb City

Are you currently experiencing a “temporary” financial setback with more outgo than income? I understand because we all go through crisis situations from time to time due to unexpected events. Or based on unwise decision making on our part. Yet, there is one thing that remains 100%! God’s word and He says that you don’t have to beg and borrow for crumbs. “I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his descendants begging bread.”Psalm 37:25

First, if you have created the crisis then take ownership. How can you fix what is in your control? Do you need to set up a schedule to budget your weekly income and expenses? Are you in a covenant relationship with God?

Secondly, declare aloud what the Word says about your condition and not what you feel or see. The only thing that moves God is your faith. Declare aloud with me: “But my God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. All that He has is mine as a joint-heir in Christ Jesus. I’m connected to royalty and walk in the blessings and favor of God. I believe that He alone is able to supply all of my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I declare and decree that I am, and we are blessed and entitled to the whole loaf of bread.” As a King’s Kid YOU are not meant to live in “Crumb City”…

Passages for Reflection: St. Matthew 15:21-28; Ephesians 2:12-13,19; St. Mark 7:27; Deuteronomy 28:13, 7:14

It’s sad because you might be living on Crumb Boulevard in Crumb City and you don’t even have a clue.

Crumb City is a spiritual place where you have no rights or privileges in God as the main issue.

Our text today is about a Greek gentile woman who comes to Jesus, with a problem of having a daughter vexed with the devil, grievously.

She said “Yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master’s table,” not realizing that she was in Crumb City.

The daughter was so bad off that the woman was unable to get adequate rest.

And there are three profiles of people who live in Crumb City in distress.

There may be times of frustration and deep depression in their life.

They may be confused, tormented, racked with pain, misery, and strife.

There are times when the devil is raising hell in their lives which they cannot stop or know how to cope.

Everybody that lives in Crumb City is an alien to the commonwealth of God’s property, health, power, and hope.

Yet this woman in Crumb City who was of great faith was only entitled to the crumbs from the master’s table.

For those who live in Crumb City are strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God on their side to keep them stable.

To get out of Crumb City you need to find Jesus and get into abundant living.

When you are in Christ Jesus your days of crumbs are over and you have access to all of God’s blessings and his giving.

You have entitlements to God’s benefits of prosperity, health, power, anointing, strength, peace, and success.

God has given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness.

There is no need to live in Crumb City, waiting for crumbs to fall off the master’s table in order to be fed.

For you are blessed above all people entitled to the whole loaf of bread.

We serve a God who is faithful and desires that we live in abundance in every area of our lives. If lacking then we must call those things that be not as though they are here NOW by faith. “Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].”(Hebrews 11:1) We must declare what His word says about our situation.

Be encouraged to stand in faith and continue to Rest on His Promises for they ALL are “Yes” and “Amen” in Christ.
