IT’S TIME TO MAKE A MOVE, WHAT’S NEXT?!

IT’S TIME TO MAKE A MOVE, WHAT’S NEXT?!

I’ve re-branded my website in my Mind Shape Up community on my online Facebook Page because my next is to pursue my passion of writing as my ministry. There may be those of you who are in a place of “What’s Next?!” And I want to share with you an excerpt from a sermon by Bishop Don W. Shelby, Jr. that was done on 10/23/2016 which happens to be my birthday. What an awesome gift!! As this message was a forecast of things to come. As I read back over this, and now listening to the CD, I know that he was talking to me. I also know that I’m not the only one experiencing “what’s next?!” I hope that you would be GREATLY blessed and encouraged to keep moving forward as you read the following excerpt from Bishop Shelby:

“God told me to tell you it’s time for you to step into your next…to re-create and re-brand yourself. It’s time to step into a brand new horizon! You’ve got to move to the next assignment. Stop minimizing and start maximizing—your God shall supply your every need according to His riches that are in glory by Christ Jesus.

I know what you’ve done but what are you going to do next?! God told me that He could do this and that! God begin to tell me as I submitted to His will that out of my loins He would birth 100 churches. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children (Isaiah 66:8). A nation is birthed in a day when you begin to release your praise. When you release your HALLELUJAH you are birthing a nation. Inside of you is your next: your open door, your ministry, your business, your career, you going back to school etc… Some people are limited to go forth because of being afraid. You must be willing to keep it moving.

There are several reasons to consider about what is next in your life:

1) YOUR ASSIGNMENT IS UP! You must know when the chapter has moved on, the omega has set in, and the fat lady has sung. You are crying over stuff you lost, that slipped through your hand, and over people that walked out on you. You don’t have to worry about who don’t like you or are talking about you. It’s going to be alright. You lost your job, car, or house. Don’t worry or fret because He won’t fail. When the brook dries up you must know when to move on. Some of you look like you’re in a dry season. It’s not dry! I’m shutting it down and taking you to another level. You have to go to your NEXT because God is going to feed you over THERE! God is saying you are too comfortable where you are at in your house, job, apartment—but God says that if you want to be blessed I’ve got to take you over THERE! You must trust and believe God. The season has come when God is trying to take you over THERE. I may have to re-enroll in school because then I will move to over THERE. He will show you something mighty and supernatural!

2) THERE IS NO MORE RAIN IN THE LAND. When the money is funny it is time to move. God says, I’ve got rain and blessings coming from another place. As long as you stay where you are there will be just a drip and drop. You are stuck over here but God is trying to stretch you and take you over THERE. God will feed you supernaturally and raise you up supernaturally. I will take you to the top but you have got to move over THERE. I’ve got next. It’s my time to step out on faith and move to the next level. Your next move is not just for you. Are you ready to transition? Get up, go, and arise from here. It takes understanding and uncompromising faith. You won’t step into your purpose until you step into your next. I’m standing in line. I’m up. It’s my turn and I demand my opportunity. Seize the moment. As soon as Zion travailed…birth your next.

Some of us are comfortable with over here and the only way God is going to get us over THERE, is for God to dry the brook. Some of us are so hard-headed. The raven is not feeding you and the brook has dried up. DECLARE aloud with me: ‘It’s my turn, I’m at the front of the line, I am next, now I demand my opportunity! I have been shouting over everyone else’s blessing. It’s my turn. I demand it!” What’s next?!?! Expand your borders and keep it moving. Get up, go, arise, fetch, after awhile, and it came to pass. You can’t step into what’s next standing still because your next is an action word. Keep it moving because there is something better, brighter, and bigger planned for your life.”

I know that this word was for me because it was describing my situation. My assignment was up because I had even maxed out the pay scale with Oakwood Commons as a Speech Pathologist before the contract company took over during January 2016. And without going in to detail I was seeing changes in health care that I did not particularly care for as it related to customer service. There was no more rain in the land because my money had been funny and fickle with drip drops since fluctuating part-time hours from the summer of 2016 up until my lay off. I believe that God had to shut it down as part of His plan to take me from here to there. I do believe that God will feed me supernaturally as I step out on faith and move to the next level. I will share with you when the testimony fully manifests. I’m recalling what Jean Watts said, while giving words of exhortation during the praise and worship segment of our service on Sunday, December, 18th “all I have is plan A, because God won’t fail, even if it gets down to the wire, at 11:59 p.m., December 31st. Will you step out on faith and believe God for your plan A? I only have a plan A which is to trust God to supernaturally provide for me “because there is something better, brighter, and bigger planned for your life.”

Believe and trust in the LORD your God and you will be established (secure). Believe and trust in His prophets and succeed.” 2 Chronicles 20:20

I am resting on His promise to do just what He said He would do as spoken through His prophet, Bishop Shelby. I’ve learned over the many years as I heed God’s instructions then miracles break forth. As you’re reading this right now, you know that you have been idle long enough. It’s time to bust a move. I would encourage you to launch out by faith into your purpose.
