You know as women and especially moms it’s so easy to care for everyone else. And you end up placing your needs on the back burner. I discussed the importance of “Making Time For Self-Care” in a recent blog. Now, I want to share with you that it’s as equally important to make time for self-love.

By definition self-love is “a regard for one’s own well being and happiness; to unconditionally spoil, value yourself and self-worth. Putting yourself first so you can grow externally and internally for YOU. It’s a value that shows and symbolizes how much you appreciate and accept who you are and not who you’re told to be.

The challenge can be finding the time to practice self-love. But when you act from a place of being kind to you, notable changes will happen. You have to be willing to be your greatest cheerleader. Go ahead and give yourself a big hug. Take time to pat your own self on the back and say, “good job.” It will lead to a happy and healthier life. And lowers the risk for depression, anxiety, and heart problems.
