MAKE TIME FOR SELF-CARE

MAKE TIME FOR SELF-CARE

You know as women and especially moms, in particular, it’s so easy to put everyone’s needs ahead of your own. And you end up tossing your needs on the back burner. What happens then is that you begin to burn out and that only makes matters worse. But let me encourage you because making time for self-care is not selfish or self-indulgent. It is actually one of the MOST unselfish and important things that you can do. You actually need to nurture your mind, body, and soul. You need to fill up your own tank and make your needs a priority.

I remember the days when I tried to be superwoman with work. work. work. But operating from a place of running on fumes only led to being overly tired and frustrated. I had to schedule “me time” on my calendar in order to rejuvenate and also learn to delegate responsibility to others.

Think about it! When you make time for self-care, you’re able to give MORE to your family and people around you. In the beginning, the process may not be easy. But it is definitely so worth it. Imagine the impact you can have on those whom you love when you operate from a full tank of being revitalized, energized, and strengthened? You will absolutely feel wonderful, radiate a better attitude, and exude a more cheerful version of yourself. Especially when you’ve gain rest from some self-care time. And you absolutely deserve it!
