Yaaay!!! I want to thank you so much for helping me to select a title for my new cookbook “Coming Soon.” 👩🏾‍🍳There was only one out of the three titles that had an overwhelming response. In addition to the title reveal I’m sharing these “Writing Tips” for the Copyright Page as part of my writing journey. First, the word document of the cookbook and illustrations are currently in the hands of an editor who will cover these four areas from cover to cover: structural/developmental edit, line edit, copyedit, and proofreading.🖊

Secondly, two ISBN numbers have been assigned for an eBook and Paperback at myidentifiers.com. I recommend getting a pack of 10 if you are going to do multiple books. Third, the registry of the LCCN (Library of Congress Control Number) was completed at loc.gov/publish/prepubbooklink/. This includes general/contributor info, publisher name, title page, book summary, etc. The LCCN will arrive via email to add to the copyright page. Fourth, you’ll file the copyright at copyright.gov for your title (unpublished work) and receive a certificate in 2-4 weeks via snail mail. 😆 If you know that you will complete multiple books and have the “titles” you can register up to 10 unpublished works.

Finally, you will add your CIP Block (Cataloging-In-Publication) to the copyright page. This assists librarians with information on how to catalog the book.✍🏾 🖊📔 I hope these tips have been helpful.
